Went to Sitex today. So i am here to announce the removal of two items off my wishlist. I hereby announce the removal of ipod mini and Sony digicam.
It is not because i purchased BOTH of them. Instead i sacrificed the sleek design of the ipod mini, and went for the practical zen micro. It doesn't look that bad after all ( i am trying to console myself. in fact, it SUX. bleah. ) I got the white one, which i thought looked the most PRESENTABLE of all.
Got the Sony T3. hahaha* it's lovely. C= just can't stop smiling. spent 1000 over bucks within 20 minutes. amazing eh? really sleek design. my papa is reading the manual now.
And here i am, listening to the music from my MP3 while using the comp. Okie, this is soooo hao lian. Well, mountain tortoises like me. Can't help to be glad that i'm FINALLY using a MP3.
Erm, some updates. Caught Bride and Prejudice with Wendy, and Incredibles with Kelly. Two pretty nice shows. Catch it people. The ticket was printed in such a way that kelly and i read it as inedibles instead of inCRedibles. Well, printers do err too.
Met Weiming at Sitex today. So there he is working for Samsung. Pretty shocked to see him. Looks like he has slimmed. Woo.. haha*
Hmm, anything else? oh ya, i haven't touch my tutorials. supposed to do my maths tutorials today. but, er, as you guys can see.. i'm busy meddling with my MP3. haha* extremely amused by the technology of today.
I wanted to msg him after i got all my stuff. Think i better not disturb him. he's probably enjoying his time in US watching the blondes everywhere. Think about it, he didn't tell me the secret either. GREAT. and he really kept it well. if not because i'm involved too, he would probably keep it to his grave. GOOD. i shall see his rxn when he returns. haha*

Went back to CVSS to train the debators yesterday. No comments for the training. Hopefully, they'll improve their ATTITUDE. ( SOME of them, i mean )
Went back AGAIN today. Had a good chat with Mr. Zaidi. Really nice chat. Looked back at the moments the pioneer batch spent together. Felt really touched.
Anyway, dinner time.

i'm BORED.
was on the phone with zr just now. he finally realised the importance of the choice of JC, probably, he already knew the importance. he said that Shutter was scary, and he was in a half awake state. To believe him or not is the question, since there's no yardstick to measure the degree of horror.
i'm going for a retreat in JB from 11-12 Dec. hopefully zr will suffer from jet lag. but i think he's gona be really busy with his bunch of gurlfriends. bez budz would have been asleep by then. well, hopefully zr will be nice enough to stay up through the night and talk to me. if not, i will really be bored to death. think i'm going to be sharing the same room as another gurl, and i have no idea who she is.
should i catch TAXI? maybe i should wait for zr the critic to give his valuable comments.

i LOVE my secondary school.
my secondary form teacher, i quote, "threw all the transparencies into the rubbish chute and transferred all my lessons into the powerpoint..." Wow. How noble. The rationale behind this was that transparencies were too wordy. haha* nice one. i quote, "...powerpoint slides are less wordy..."
YA RIGHT.
i think the last power point presentation lesson i had when he taught me history comprised of approximately 90 slides. Majority of the slides had around 6 lines of WORDS. there were a few times where we could not finish reading the content, so, he had to replay the whole powerpoint. DOESN'T THAT DEFEAT THE VERY PURPOSE OF COMING UP WITH POWERPOINT SLIDES?
Well, it's cvss. the school i left a year ago. my enthusiasm ( erm, that tiny weeny lil bit in me ) morphed into hatred, under HER legislation. Probably, she was too influential. so influential that most of her 79 staff are like her.

therefore, making me loathe them as much as i loathe her.
BUT, there are nice teachers out there. probably the pioneer teachers ( note that i bold the word TEACHERS, realising the fact that CERTAIN people, e.g MR DIN [ all he knows is to make a DIN out of nothing, rather everything. ] who are dying to be acknowledged as teachers. Apparently, he doesn't have the calibre. Well, hope that he upgrades his skills, and brain. that is if he has one. ), mrs cheryl chew, the coming debate teacher incharge, ms ang and mr timothy tan.
Memories that i had in that secondary school is fading. i'm only glad and grateful that cvss existed because i found my bunch of best budz, a few teachers who helped me along the way and of course, a place for me to take my O levels and make it to JC.
Maybe, i love my JC more than my secondary school now.

- Shutter. ( i didn't thought that it was good, but 8 days says so. )
- Saw. ( i thought that it was rather stupid, but it sounds kinda nice after listening to the ad on perfect 10 for a long long time. then again, i thought that the '...voyer, psychopath' thing in the ad was pretty irritating. )
i have a whole pile of rubbish, i mean, tutorials sitting on my table. nvm, shall deal with them, when i want to.
slept at 4am, last night. effectively, this morning. stupid zr, all thanks to his date at 5am with whoever-it-may-be. BUT, really want to thank him. brightened my day. C= oh, there's this super duper sweet MV that he sent me. and i think it's the MV of the year. is this korean song. really sweet. cried while watching it. power of the media. haha* the MV was really touching. well, sent by a not-so-touching guy. bleah. nvm, i shall be nice. thanks zr.

i'm really bored now. staring into space at 1.18am. hate going out with my family tomorrow. rather, hate going out with my dad. it's gona be drop dead boring. let's make a comparison when i'm out with my mum VS when we're out as a family ( which comprises of only THREE people. )
When i'm out with my mum, i can choose whatever i want to eat. we can have lunch at crystal jade or sakae sushi, and head to Marche or NYDC for dessert. it's just WHATEVER I WANT.
When we are out as a FAMILY, i have to cater to the stupid, eccentric taste that my dad has. ( i.e Chin Chin HAINANESE restaurant [searching of our roots..], Prawn mee at some freaking RESTAURANT [i mean hup hoe restaurant or sth. now u know what i mean by RESTAURANT?] ) ewww, hate this life of mine.
When i'm out with my mum, i can buy WHATEVER i like. for e.g, i can go to M & S and shop till i drop. move on to charles and keith and buy a few pumps and heels. then on to some other store in orchard.
When we are out as a family. haha* GREAT. i can't hang out in orchard. simply because my dad doesn't like to hang out there. neither does he like compass point, or hougang mall. not west mall either. so effectively, we only have one choice. a place full of rebecca's fellow friends. MUSTAFA CENTRE. FOR GOD SAKE, WHO THE HELL HANGS OUT THERE? i'm a SEVENTEEN yr old teenager who goes to town la. might as well hang out at DESKER RD. at least i can get to see some trans. that's probably the only benefit that can outweigh all the detriments ( for e.g the stupid traffic and blasting music from some triple M store [ music, movies, memories ] ) ahhh, im going bonkers.
Oh, so my maid's tagging along tomorrow. No wonder my dad doesn't want to go orchard. i can understand why. my maid can't possibly go there in flip flops. BUT AGAIN, bringing her to mustafa centre would only increase the chances of her getting married to bangladesh. who knows, someday when im on my way home i may see my maid running under a coconut tree with a bangladesh worker from the construction site in the vicinity. i was telling my mum, we maybe celebrating deeparaya someday.
GREAT. the stupid SAW ad has repeated for 7 times over the period when i was typing the above. and the ENTERTAINING song by JIN is on perfect 10 now. i think it's JO's FAVOURITE song. haha*
oh ya, did i mention that i met chun siong yesterday? yups, bumped into him when i was at tiong bahru plaza. pretty happy to see him. he looks better now. can see the phrase 'I'M AMAZED' written on his face. met this guides helper too. called chen may. i doubt she recognizes me. but i kinda heard her telling her friends about the camp we had. so we kinda recognized each other, but just didn't holler each other's name. ( well, maybe not holler. )
going back to that secondary school to help that bunch of three kids for the JG debate. well, i'm not all that good, but hopefully i can help in their case set for the pathetic C division. seriously, the thought of communicating with these 3 kids, rather 5 kids, will really be tough. i don't think i can put the ideas across that easily. kinda understand why joshua always ask us to think. good idea. maybe ed and i should demand the school to provide transport cost. if not, we'll probably be broke by the preliminary round of the debate. some of them may not even know what a debate is. like what edward said, 'there's no raw talent'. talk about talent. ha*

went for the run with jo this morning. erm, ran + walk a total of four rounds. applaud my courage man. haha* so embarrassing. chatted with jo after the run, which was prolly 5 times longer than the amount of time we took to run? hee*

life simply rox dese few days. went ard town moz of the time. caught princess diaries 2 wif kel n nancy on sat. kel n i had our eyes set on the mtv file n pencil case. oh, n the lecture pad. supposed 2 gt it 2dae. buden kel seemed 2 haf 4gten. prolly go get it tml or sth. kinda blur dat dae.. took 70 instead of 70#. dat # makes a GREAT diff. so ppl, if u guys wana go suntec from yio chu kang or sth, pls note dat it's 70#. so we were late, n headed dwn 2 PS 2 mt nancy instead. pretty fun lars. but sheryl was pretty irritating. kept dmandin fer her 10.90 UNO cards. doesn't she noe dat i dun own S'pore mint.
